There isn’t a person in the world who doesn’t like candy or chocolate. If you are like me you love them just a little bit too much. A candy bar is a great way to celebrate any holiday, give thanks, show you appreciate someone, or just make a kind gesture out of the blue. Yet you don’t just want to give someone a plain candy bar with nothing attached, otherwise it may lose its meaning.
That’s why I like to attach little homemade notes to cards. These particular notes are really cute and funny (or shall I say…punny? heheh). I have a confession to make: I really really really love puns of all sorts. I couldn’t help but chuckle at “We wouldn’t trade you for a 100 Grand.” Do they mean a 100 grand bar or the actual amount of money? That kind of tongue in cheek attitude really gets to me. I am also a big fan of “hope you get BUTTER soon.” I was raised in a dairy farming town, so what can I say.
You don’t have to just use these already thought up ones. Your card should be personal, these are just jumping off points. I ALWAYS encourage people to enliven the world with more puns, but a heartfelt note or heartfelt sentiment can make all the difference too. Again, make sure you decorate your lovely little cards with plenty of love and ribbons.
